If your child is a resident student and is new to Edmonton Public Schools, or is currently attending an Edmonton Public School, and you have recently moved into our attendance area, please submit an online registration. 2025 - 2026 REGISTRATIONS AND PRE-ENROLMENT

Current Division Students Must Pre-enrol
You will need to pre-enrol your child on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment by clicking here. Pre-enrolment runs from 8 am Monday, February 3, 2025 through to 4 pm Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Once again, John Barnett is a closed boundary school. As outlined in Division regulations, the only new students accepted to our school during pre-enrolment are:

Resident students who live within the attendance area.
Siblings of current students who will be returning to the school the following year.

If the student you are registering or pre-enrolling meets one of these criteria for the 2025-2026 school year, please register them online (new students) or pre-enrol through SchoolZone (existing students).

Following the close of pre-enrolment at 4 pm on March 19, 2025, the school will only accept resident students who have newly moved into the attendance area or resident students eligible for Kindergarten.
